Christopher George Paul Garia was born on the 16th of December of 1992 in Willemstad, Curaçao.

Garia was also part of the 2004 Curaçao Little League baseball team that won the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania in 2004.

Garia was later signed by the Texas Rangers on the 2nd of July of 2009 as an international free agent outfielder. From 2010 to 2016 Garia spent time playing in the Texas Rangers organization, and in 2014 he led the Carolina League in stolen bases (45 stolen bases).

In July 2016, Garia went to the Netherlands to play in the Dutch Hoofdklasse for the Hoofddorp Pioniers and later in September 2016 he became champions with the Dutch baseball team in the 2016 European Baseball Championship.

Garia began the 2017 season with the Lincoln Saltdogs from the Independent Baseball League, but he was later released  by the Saltdogs and returned to the Netherlands to play for the Hoofddorp Pioniers.
