HENSLEY MEULENS made history again by being the first YDK to manage a MLB team.
Hensley Meulens managed the San Francisco Giants to an 8-5 win against the
Milwaukee Brewers. His club gave him plenty of credit for steering the ship in Bruce Bochy’s
absence. “Obviously, Boch is at a great event today supporting one of the greatest
closers ever (Trevor Hoffman) and also one of his old coaches, Alan Trammell,” Meulens
said. “He has to be there and enjoy that. In the meantime, we’ll play a game and try to
win one.”
